MORNING SHOCKER: A Close Look at Kamala Harris’ Questionable Staff Selections Through the VP Debate

The Vice Presidential Debate: A Glimpse into Kamala Harris’ Staff Selection Blunders

The political landscape of any nation is a confluence of diverse elements, among which the selection of competent staff is of paramount significance. A fitting case in point can be clearly observed in Kamala Harris’ choices for her staff, as evidenced by the vice-presidential debate. Watermarked by inefficiency and questionable judgment, Harris’ selection of staff threatens to undermine her professional stature.

At the outset, Bexar County Judge Rosie Speedlin Gonzalez, a member of Kamala Harris’ team who threatened to ‘beat up’ Trump supporters, was a classic example of problematic staff selection. Opting for a person with a predisposition to violence and intimidation as part of her team displays Harris’ flawed judgment. It manifests her disregard for democratic values and her inclination towards choosing individuals who foster a hostile political environment, alienating a significant portion of the electorate.

Furthermore, Sarah Isgur Flores, who served as spokesperson for Harris’ campaign, further amped the controversy quotient. Having previously labeled Trump voters as ‘deplorables,’ her affiliation to Harris’ camp was met with much skepticism. Selecting a team member who showed an apparent disrespect towards a section of voters potentially undermines the unity Harris should aim to foster as a public leader.

The list doesn’t stop there, with individuals like Maya Harris, Kamala Harris’ sister, who carries the ignominy of being linked to the fraudulent Clinton Foundation. Such questionable associations only serve to tarnish Kamala Harris’ image and testament to her poor judgment in staff selection.

Equally troubling is the inclusion of Larry Wallace, a long-term senior staffer for Harris, in her team. Wallace resigned following a $400,000 harassment settlement against him. Having staff linked to harassment allegations highlights a blatant disregard for ethical conduct and hypocrisy on the part of Harris.

Moreover, Margolis and Cox, selected as political strategists during Harris’ senate campaign, also had a history of unethical conduct. The duo has been implicated in various scandals involving monetary resources. Margolis’s most notable scandal involves stealing campaign funds for personal use, while Cox has been connected to a money laundering scheme. As such, their inclusion in Harris’ team showcased a disconcerting tolerance for unethical behavior.

In the grand panorama of politics, public figures are often required to make tough decisions, vetting their staff choices diligently. Unfortunately, in the case of Kamala Harris, her decisions in staff selection seem to be fraught with poor judgment, as proven in the Vice-Presidential debate. By where she places her trust, Harris paints a picture of her values and judgment — and in this instance, that picture is concerning.
