At times we find ourselves on uncharted paths of life, bewildered and seeking confirmation of the choices we’re about to make for our lives. This was very much the situation the protagonist of our story found herself in. Having discovered she was carrying an unexpected child in her womb, she found herself teetering on the edge, contemplating getting an abortion. However, one chance meeting—or perhaps destiny—led her to acquaintance with a friend who eventually swayed her perspective.
Fork in the Road
The wind of solitude often carries us towards isolation, especially in times of distress. Our protagonist sought solace and understanding in a space notorious for its anonymity and diversity: the internet. She logged onto a popular social media platform, afraid yet hopeful to express her turmoil and find a fellow soul who can empathize with her situation.
